Michael Todd KC Secures Costs for Ocean Wilsons Holdings Limited After Bermuda Scheme Sanction
16th March 2026
Having sanctioned, on 2 December 2025, a Scheme of Arrangement between Ocean Wilsons Holdings Limited (OWHL) and its members, notwithstanding objections from one of its members as to the fairness of the Scheme, the Bermuda Court, on 6 March 2026, applied the guidance established in England as to the incidence of the costs occasioned by such objections, and ordered the objector to pay the additional costs of OWHL occasioned by and as a result of its objections to the sanction of the Scheme.
Michael Todd KC and Kyle Masters (Carey Olsen Bermuda) successfully represented Ocean Wilson Holdings Limited, instructed by Paul Dickson, Richard Jeens, Jack Wharton, and Patrick Hall (Slaughter and May).
