Erskine Chambers Welcomes Two New Tenants

Erskine Chambers is pleased to announce that Alastair Ahamed and Nicholas White have accepted tenancy following the successful completion of their pupillage.
Both Alastair and Nick will now undertake a 3- to 6-month secondment within the corporate department of a leading City law firm before commencing full tenancy at Chambers.
Nick was an associate in the corporate department at Slaughter and May before transferring to the Bar. Prior to starting pupillage, he did an LL.M. at the University of Cambridge and was a visiting lecturer in Company Law at King’s College London.
Alastair Ahamed previously held a lectureship at Somerville College, University of Oxford, where he taught Contract Law and Trusts. He continues to teach tutorials in Company Law at Oxford. Alastair holds a Distinction in the Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL) from the University of Oxford and is a qualified solicitor, having trained at Weil, Gotshal & Manges.
