Matthew Parfitt recognised at Pro Bono Connect anniversary celebration at the Supreme Court.

We are pleased to announce that Matthew Parfitt has won the award for the largest ever pro bono costs order at Pro Bono Connect’s 10th anniversary celebration, held at the Supreme Court on Thursday 9 July.

The award recognises the pro bono work Matthew carried out with Mayer Brown in Re Mitt Wearables Ltd, Lakey v Macabuag & Ors [2023] EWHC 1800 (Ch), where they successfully defended claims relating to a company that had developed a new form of prosthetic upper limb.
