This year, London International Disputes Week (LIDW) will take place from 2-6 June 2025. Chambers is pleased to support the event and will be co-hosting two sessions which explore key issues and topics.

Erskine Chambers is pleased to host this session jointly with Stewarts and Reed Smith.
The panel including Edward Davies KC, Sophie Lalor-Harbord (Stewarts), George Hoare (Reed Smith) and Polly Richard (Travers Smith) will discuss how minority shareholders might hold companies and their directors to account, with practical tips on resolving such disputes.
There have been a number of recent, interesting decisions in the UK and internationally including:
- Tianrui (International) Holding Company Ltd v China Shanshui Cement Group Ltd, the Privy Council (Cayman Islands) decision;
- THG Plc v Zedra Trust Company (Jersey) Ltd, recently heard in the Supreme Court on unfair prejudice claims; and
- ClientEarth v Shell Plc on derivative claims.
